Barnesville Hospital Offers Doll & Super Hero Clinic

Family wellness will be the theme as Barnesville Hospital participates in this year’s Belmont County Showcase on Saturday, March 21st, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p m. at the Barnesville Elementary School. In order to alleviate the fear and anxiety of children when visiting the doctor or going to the hospital, a Doll & Super Hero Clinic will be held. Children are encouraged to bring in their favorite doll or super hero for a free wellness exam. Using real medical instruments, they will get to simulate an exam on their favorite toy. In addition, the first 350 children will receive a free medical kit and book, Timmy Visits The Emergency Room.

Wellness information will be available, as well, for all other members of the family. Each family visiting the booth will receive a free digital thermometer, in addition to wellness information for all ages.

Come visit the staff at the Barnesville Hospital booth as they strive to “improve the community’s health,” one family member at a time.
